Its Pro plan gives 500 GB for $15.99 net per month on annual billing, where Pelli's Pro plan gives 100 GB for the equivalent of $32.50 a month on annual billing. The same holds higher up: picdrop Advanced offers 1 TB for $47.49 net per month, against roughly $65.83 a month for Pelli Ultra, which carries the same 1 TB. The maths changes as soon as you add a store, an invoicing tool, a booking system and a website, each of which becomes a separate subscription alongside picdrop.
picdrop does very well what it was designed to do, and its makers own that deliberately narrow scope. Pelli answers a different question: everything around the photo, from the signed quote to the print sold, without leaving the same interface. If you currently juggle three or four tools, that consolidation is what will make the difference.
